Just got off the phone with a Fido CSR, who suggested that it might be another couple of days before data service was restored!

T-Mobile has at least been giving customers who call in a $5 credit, but nothing similar from Fido... yet.

I just got my sidekick2 last Monday and I went to intelesync my outlook yesterday of course it didn't work and even from my t-mobile desktop site, I still can't get on...

So I called t-mobile who said they knew of the problem (said it's 90% fixed but I must be in that last 10%) and since it was a problem since Sun. they would like to do something (even tho this is a Danger server problem, they were willing to walkup to the plate and do what they could to make me feel better.).

So the person on the phone offered me 100 free anytime mins. I said that was very nice. But the person sensed it didn't mean much and said, let me check your bill... I have 1000 anytime and I don't ever go over so they said how about this... seeing I'm a new user (tho a previous client) they gave me my 6th month free!

Come on people! Everyone has server problems now and then and no one likes it. We all had crashes etc... beyond our control, but I give T-mo a hearty round of applause for going the distance and trying their best to smooth over a situation that was not their fault!
Personally I find that very cool...

I hope this was a joke aimed at all the celebrity sidekick users and not some vein attempt to make people think you're somebody special..

Well, I had AIM for about 15 minutes this morning. This has not been a good day, at least Sidekick-wise. First the outage, then I get a letter saying my $50 rebate was denied because I wasn't on a $39.99 plan for 12 cumulative months, despite the fact that my voice plan was $39.99 for 3 years. And that's before Data and text messaging.
I wasn't going to call them to complain, but now I have 2 things so I guess I'll be calling first thing in the morning.

Well the G is back for the 2nd time this morning. The last time it only lasted about 30 mins. I have AIM and email but no web access. We'll see how long this one lasts. Oh I have Suncom.
