i restarted it this morning and seems to be ok so far.

they really didnt mentioned what happened. in the back of my mind im always going to think it was a hack because it took so long to fix.

it's decent of them to do this.
I see some of you talking about being up... I just got my HIPTOP2 from Fido on Tuesday and except for 1/2 an hour on Thursday. Have not had any uptime. Is anyone on Fido getting onto the web or getting emails. What about the rest from Tmobile etc.?

here in Delaware (northern part close to philadelphia) mine still dosent work. if i turn it off and back on it keeps giving me the alert window saying my gprs isnt set right or its not configured for it, saying the service isnt working. i called t-mobile cs and they said my area is still out, and once its back on that i should get a "setup" window asking me to put in a username and all that (i just got my sk2 over the weekend). when i asked the CS guy when it would be working again, he said there is no specific time frame, but he said "he thinks" today (monday), but its still doing the little dance thing up near the antenna. wtf.

OK my HIPTOP2 is back up. I am using FIDO in Vancouver. I was down yesterday all day and then turned it off last night and this morning VIOLA!

I have been in DC/Charlottesville, VA and have had one sweeping dot for a week and change now, no IM, internet, email...anything besides text and calls, and I am as mad the next person, my attempts to call tmo have been unsuccessful...but please let me say one thing...whatever you do, DONT blame Catherine Zeta Jones...she has done nothing but look absolutely perfect for all of us...
Now this is getting ridiculous... late last night the dot dance started and it continues on early this morning.
I wish Danger would come out and tell us what is going on.

this is complete BULLS**T!!! i use my phone as a primary EVERYTHING (web, email, etc.) and i cant believe this id happening! i havent had service for 72 hr now and im really pissed. i tried to do a hard reset thinking it would help but it accually erased EVERYTHING so if you half to do a hard reset, save your contacts and stuff to your sim card. my phone just WONT stop 2 dot dancing and no change for the last 72 hr!!!!
Austin, TX here - no sidekick services period. T-Mo keeps giving me the same story that it'll be fixed "shortly". What on earth did Danger do to knock out services globally?

Confirmed. A co worker was complaining about her SK Slide data not working at all for two days and no real Tmo answers. Went online and BAM.
Ask for credit, free data or something to make it worth your time.
One of the reasons i got rid of the sidekick and the pos backend server service from danger,no wonder they jumped ship and sold their souls to microsoft.
