Just wondering if anyone still owns or uses their Motorola V60i? I'm feeling kinda nostalgic for it. It was one of the best phones I've ever used, and I'm actually contemplating about getting one on eBay.

I'm about to run over my old one, this thing is indestructable... well except for the antenna. i opened it up dropped it bent some stuff on the motherboard and it still works great, wtf? haha
My husband still uses his all the time.

I had 5 of em... they were the best!!! I had the lil' baby Vader plastic one before that... still the smallest, I don't know if ya'll remember that one. I had 2 before they had the interchangeable face plates. I still have a verizon PTT version that has like no usage on it at all... sitting in a drawer. I wonder if you can flash the firmware to disable the PTT cuz If I remember correctly, they wouldn't let you use that phone if you didn't subscribe to PTT... If anyone wants to buy that one, it's mint and has the big battery and extra powder blue covers![]()
Those V60s could take a lot of cement hammering!!! Yeeeaaahhhhaaawww!!!
I still have a v60gi for cingular that is very beat up but I still use from time to time ... I do love its simplicity.
i had it but the problem with it is that the antenna can be easily broken.
i still have mine, but its really beat up, its quite the beater phone
I still have my V60i. I decided to keep it as a backup phone after getting the V551 because I like it so much. I loved how the phone was so solid. You could drop it out the window on the highway and it'd still work fine after.
I still love my V60ig, but a member here on HoFo has it right now that shall rename nameless...
It's still a work horse that was desiged for a little abuse with its metal housing, yet compact and sexy. Many forget that the battery (ironically, the same as most Vxxx series phones) rox!! Mostly because of the monochromatic screen and not as many features like crazy ringers and all the crazy stuff we see and love today. It's the perfect backup phone and wonderful for traveling since you can go longer between charges on it.

Oh..what a classic. I started using my brother's V60 after I started getting bored with the Siemens S56. The RF on the V60 is much better than the Siemens S56 when it comes to catching a signal inside some buildings, though I kinda hate the stock NiMH battery and protruding battery cover...looks ugly.

Yeah, his V60 (GSM model) came with a NiMH battery and protruding battery cover, he had to buy a Li-Ion and slim cover for it since he hated the stock layout.Originally posted by NineToez
