It only took 1 minute to get an actual person on the line. I changed my plan to $30 for 300 anytime Unlimited Nites/wknd.
I never had a Sprint Advantage Agreement.
The rep said I had to take it to upgrade the plan. I figure no big deal I'm not going anywhere. She says her system didn't populate the agreement fields. She gives me a # to call to accept the agrmt at my liesure.
What if I don't call to accept the agreement? Could I get away without it since I never had a plan with one anyway?
Pshh, screw that, if I were you I would not call and see what happens. Personally I don't like the idea of cell phone contracts to lock you into service with a particular company (although there's not much I can do about it since every company seems to have one), so why make it easier for them if they can't even get it to work, eh?
Either way you will deemed to accept the agreement, the IVR confirmation which is the number she gave you is only to make it formal. If you read Sprint's Terms and Conditions under advantage agreement it states "you agree to the terms and advantage agreement even if you do not sign or confirm via voice, you agree when you place the first call on the plan in question including 911 calls" this is not quoted exactly but it's pretty close. INCLUDING 911 CALLS.......
They WILL charge you a $10/mo fee for using service with no contract. Its a option (10/mo) to NOT ahve a contract. It will be billed automatically if you don't. So do whatever, they will charge you.
