    Question v710

    tragic or who every
    is their any setting on the v710 that can speed up easy edge? uscc saids there is not any thing that i could do.if their is please tell me how to do it.

    There isn't, by default it's set at the highest speed. Easyedge is just slow by nature.

    I'm glad you posted this here though. Anything to keep this thing alive :laughs:

    Is Easyedge ran through 1X?? It seems to me when I had VZW that their Get It Now was faster than Easyedge and it's a known fact that Get It Now is thru 1X.

    Easyedge is indeed run through 1X.

    Considering that I was about to pay SunCom $50/mo for data that doesn't work anywhere, and Cingular wanted $80/mo, Easyedge is an insanely cheap deal for me.

    Key words "with a voice plan" - Cing coverage sucks here - no way I could go for voice. Hell, I use my data outside of Cingular's coverage all the time. The extra $4.95 is worth that.

    Like I've told you before, if we had an 800mhz GSM provider I'd be good to go.
