    Nokia PC Suite 6.5 released

(I didn't see this anywhere.. .soo..)

Nokia recently released an all new version of PC Suite.

Look here for phone compatibility information; basically phones released post 2003 will work with PC Suite 6.5. The 7610, 6670, 6260, 9300, 9500 are definitely supported.

    Download here.

Definite changes include the icons, which are now all much prettier. Not quite Mac OS X standard, but as good as most Windows XP programs. I also had zero difficulties installing over PC Suite 6.4.8, and creating a new bluetooth connection and sync profile for my Nokia 7610 was painless. There seem to have been no fundemental changes in the programs, which work in the same way.

    A worthwhile upgrade... It's free!

    6620?

Can someone help confirm if 6.5 is compatible with the 6620?

On the nokia.com site, the 6620 model does not appear in the list of what PC suite version is to be used for what model.

On the nokia.ca site, the PC suite available for download is still 6.4.1.

PC Suite 6.5 is not compatible with the 6600 or 6620. But it does allow for the newer phones to have more than just one connected. I had both the 7280 and 6630 connected which is cool. They finally made a universal pc suite!

If it is "universal pc suite" so it should be compatible with 6600/6620.

6.4.8 can also link up multiple phones. I have my 6630, 6620, and 6820 all connected at the same time.

It doesn't look like this should work with 3650/3600 but I am curious if anyone has actually tried it.

    Thanks.

to get my 6620 to talk via the usb cable, i had to uninstall the old pc suite and the old cable driver.

after that, i installed the new pc suite & plugged in my 6620 only when i was on the "get connected -> cable" page.

Is anyone able to manage contacts through the File Manager. My File Manager sees all images and ringtones under the 6620, but I do not see anything under contacts....any clues...the phone shows as connected and I can do every other function...:-(
