    Cool Am I NUTS?

I've owned a iMate PDA2k for 6 months now...used it continuously...I've also had a lot of fits with it. Charging and battery issues...major system freezes that required hard resets, etc.

My question is this...would I be nuts to want to sell it and buy the new MPx 300? Or am I in for the same BS hastles I've had already?

I use all the features that the PDA2k has...that is why the MPx is so appealing to me...I'm not really giving up much, except memory space and maybe a bit of speed and a touch of screen space.

I'm just worried that my problems aren't hardware, but software related. Here is the deal. 4 or so times per week, when I plug the iMate in for charging, it freezes...and I can't soft reset it...it requires a hard reset. I also cannot charge the phone via USB (sync cord) or with the auto adapter (12 volt) because, well...I don't know why.

With that said...would I be happy with the MPx? Do any of you forsee me having some of the same BS hastles I am already having?

Oh...and how is the BT reception on Motorolas?

    Thanks all!

yes because the MPx has been really buggy and moto decided to drop that model's production and only push the mpx200 and mpx220.. refer to this thread for more info

Why not look into other smart phones like SE, Treo or Blackberry?

So what are my options? Should I be checking out the Nokia 9500?

I am...I just hate to see a choice go bad! LOL

Treo I know all about...I owned a 600...just think it is the same with Bluetooth...not saying it isn't a viable option...just trying to learn about others as well.

Blackberry? What do they have going on? Anything cool?

And uh...what's the other? Sony Ericcson?

What models do you suggest of each that I should look at before making the $1000 plunge?

    Thanks
