I know this isnt unlocked and its with carrier and contract.....but its now 99 dollars after rebates at amazon.com.....but i got mine for free after rebates at the same site!! It was for the 29th only...and not even all day. I still think its worth 250 unlocked definetly, thats a good deal...especially if it is midnight blue.....i dont like the glacier blue...looks cheapy. Good luck!

Also, i bought the phone with new service from a tmobile store, for 279 plus the 100 dollar rebate, so 179, but then i found it at amazon for free, so i cancelled that phone and contract (14 day trial/buyers remorse) and started up service again but through amazon and had to use my moms SSN since mine wouldnt work for 90 days after service is cancelled...but its free, so worth the hassle!

Can you post pics showing the difference between Glacier and midnight blue. Which color is the Cingular one?

I DEFINETLY recommend this phone, like you said, it makes calls, and it makes them damn well.....great sound quality and loud earpiece volume. I dont even mind the no features...the design is just something i cant get over...and it just looks so cool with the chrome keys and midnight blue keypad...so i would choose it, for that price too...go for it!

Actually i have pics on my other computer of my first tmobile one, their version is the midnight blue one (dark one) and the cingular version is the glacier blue one. The midnight blue unlocked new is still a lot more expensive than the glacier...its more rare and exclusive, but probably not for long since tmobile offers it! I wouldnt have anything but this color or the garnet (red) if it comes out. Beautiful phone.....i might try and post pics when i get on my other comp if it works right...

    Reply to Team Ayu....

    PS: Im from HK too

anyway~ i think these are targeted for different market... 65k color with camera.... I know its packed with features... but also it is not as sleek and as elegant as say the 8910/8890/V70 .... u get one way or the other~ thats wt i think..... and for $250 USA which is around $1900 HKD to get a phone which was $4-5xxx when it was released i dun really think is too bad is it?

How come on the Cingular website, they show a picture of the Midnight blue one, if they are selling the glacier one?

    nsx280ps,

Why don't you hold on to your money for a bit longer? I'm sure a the Motorola T720 being sold in Asia at the moment, will soon arrive in North America. Supposedly, there's also Tri-band GSM version, though I have not seen any on ebay or online stores other than the dual band type. T720 is like the next generation of V6x phones. Yes, yet another flip phone but it is equiped with a colour lcd screen! I think it also has the java support. Its dimensions and weigh are identical to those of V6x's. I think it's worth the wait.
