    This effects everyone, obviously. In all honesty, if you can't pay the bill, it deserves to be noted on your credit file that you didn't. Helps other companies either:
    A) Offer you services with a cap (similar to Rogers CLM)
    b)Gets you out of deposits in some cases
    C) Helps other companies protect themselves from customers who are not apt to pay bills

    how about Fido?

    My friend has a $400 unpaid Fido bill from before the merger, will that get reported as well?

    Yes - it will and most probably already has been reported to the bureau. Well,that depends on how overdue it is, but from the way it sounds, lol, pretty overdue...

    Reporting is done only on wireless accounts. A consolidated account will show the payment history under Rogers Wireless as well. Rogers Cable currently does not report any payment history unless the account has gone to collections.

    It's possible, I'd imagine that there are other considerations though. After all, while people cannot be refused basic cable services, anything above that like digital boxes and the like are things we have the ability to refuse to rent or sell to people if they have a horrible payment history.

    whether or not you spend money on the credit card each month it will still get reported as paid as agreed or up to date. so whether or not you spend $10 or $100 a month it makes no difference. however if your balance to available credit ratio is too close, it will affect your score.

    I work at www.carmafinancial.com and I also see Rogers Wireless/Microcell in our database. Telus takes up most of our collection profits.

    It would be irony if it was opposite. Since Telus has the highest ECF, it's to be expected.

    highest ECF. no kidding!!

    Worst case scenario:

    Telus: 36mo * $20 = $720
    Rogers: 36 mo * $20 = $200(limited to $200)

    Out of thousands of customers we serve - There are such few customers I've come across that come back as high or even declined.

    bad rogers customer service

    I reported 2 fraud accounted opened by Identity Thief, but nobody from Rogers is willing to help me fix that
