thanks goldhead IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY! Just a quick warning, you will loose AIM, if you use this update if i'm not mistaken. Goldhead, just in case i wanna switch back all i need to do is restore the orginally fullflash with x65flasher right? Do i use "restore?" or "Write Flash". i'm probably going to keep fw43 though, since it's smoother and works nicer.

I'm glad to hear that. Yes, by upgrading to FW43 you lose AIM, but you get WV Client instead (whatever that is, but probably for instant messaging too). And yes, if you want to go back to your previous fullflash, use x65flasher and press "Write Flash" if you used "Read Flash" to backup.Originally Posted by joey322

can anybody tell me how long the update firmware process takes?
I have started two hours ago and its still not finished, there was a message saying it should take about 30 minutes.
i tried to close the program, it wouldnt let me do so.

hmm if you dislike what happened, you can always flash it back to your backup.
ikawai, what part of the process are you on? full flashing with the downloaded firmware?

Thanks for the wonderful guide Goldhead. I got everything done except the flash because I can't find a zipped version of the full flash fw43 anywhere! Could anyone provide me a working download link, please?
