    Proxy Server

... since this question gets asked time and again I thought I'd make an easy title for the search engine. Simply put for tzones enter the following settings where it's asked for in either the phone browser settings:

    Port: 8080
    IP Address: 216.155.165.50
    Server Name: getmorespeed.voicestream.com
Please call 1-800-937-8997 on a different phone so we can help you...

Need to know how to interface your phone to your device.

Need help setting up your email client on the phone click on this for setting it up.

What is your proxy setting then go to what to input for the settings

There isn't a difference as one is an ip address that most computers crunch much easier and the other DNS will interpete for us human beings since we can remember words easier than a combination of numbers. You can input either and they both work, at least for me on my Ngage, Netfront, and employee tzones (now that we're unlimited as well instead of 10 MB/month).

I don't think you need the proxy server anymore. Both apn's (wap.voicestream.com for MMS) and internet2.voicestream.com work without the proxy

Yeah, Epic went deep into the archives to find his old thread. However, as cmc0 said, the proxy isn't really needed anymore. Maybe Epic knows some benefit to it.
