    sidekick security protocols

    This is just a general knowledge question. I was wondering if anyone knew the protocol specs for the sidekick. Eg I know they dont use WTLS. But say IPSec for the network layer? SSL?

    basically how the phones incorporates security into its functionality.

    The CPU on this thing is very slow, so if it has encryption, I bet it is very weak. When I use SSH, it takes 6-10 seconds for it to decrypt the key.
    I [used to] monitor some apps used by the major carriers and also used inter-carrier. It is very boring.

    I would put money on IPSec... Thats my guess.
