camera wise, its iffy, you can get pics out of the 902 that are close to if not better than the sony, but the sony most likely takes better pics overall (you'll end up with a higher number of good shots from the K750i).

The mp3 player on the 902 is great. The K750i has its W800 variant that can play music with the phone off, which is a really nice feature, you have to turn airplane mode on the 902 in order to listen to it on a plane.

Ok, so let me elaborate on the 902 so I can help you make your decision. I don't know much about the K750i but I do know that the current version is being replaced this summer with a CCD equipped version (the current one has a CMOS camera).

Imo, buying a 902 is risky. If you get the 902sh, you're stuck with the provisioning thing and only being able to use special mp3 files with DRM. You could also end up with a bluetooth problem (thats fixable, if you pay).

You could get the SX813 except I think the phone is hideous. Its all silver and VERY boring looking. The phone is way to plain looking, and I don't like the silver.

You could go for the 902, then you'd get a white one with the voda branding. I may be alone in saying this, but the branding on the phone actually helps the phone. Many people say they hate it simple because the hate branding but if you take all the branding off (including the battery door), you are left with a VERY dull looking phone. I also like the menu's on the 902 better than the menu's on the GX30 (the red works better with the 902). Now for the downside of the 902, some of the firmwares have problems with saving new pictures. My phone takes about 4secs to save a pic, some of them take up to 30 seconds. You get a please wait screen for about 10-15 and then it takes about 10-15 seconds to save the photo. I don't encounter these problems but its possible that you will, so I recommend getting it from a place that allows you to test or return it. Other than that, I'd choose a 902 over a K750i any day. The 902 has a dynamite screen, uses SD cards, great mp3 player, great camera and a host of other features including a bar code reader/text scanner and full screen video playback. Video recording is also going to be better on the sharp and you have 2x optical zoom

Actually if you buy a new 902 you will likely have the problem with the long photo saving time, because it's a problem present in the new firmware of the phone that's shown up from phones made from around April 1st. If you buy a second hand one you may be luckier...

The SX813 runs different firmware altogether, so I'm not sure about it. If anyone owns an SX813 and has tested their photo-taking time, we'd love to hear about it.

i honestly doubt the sharp's mp3 can match the sony's mega bass player...

of all the cellphones i've used the new k750i's mp3 player was awesome..

haven't had the 902 to compare yet though...

The Sony k750i was rated to have the best camera of any phone on the market. heres the review link :Mobil-review.com of the k750i
The k750i is another great camera phone that uses a CMOS sensor like the NEC n840(wheres those people saying CMOS sucks... they suddenly disappeared). I personally dont like the look or menus of the k750i but if you want the best camera in a phone go for it.

So explain why they are replacing the CMOS sensor with a better CCD sensor in the K750i?

I can't explain why they would be replacing the sensor. The camera speaks for itself, no camera beats it as it stands now..no need to explain that part tho.

What they really need to replace is the ugly body to the phone and ugly menus but thats all my opinion. Hey its a sony/erricson..I've never been a fan of their phones.

They've outlined the improvements the CCD sensor will bring to the phone, but I'd have to agree that the phone needs better styling

like the review in itself states, that statement it does not make consideration for the 902SH

it's Sony Ericsson, 6-month half-step revisions are their speciality.

I don't even know why you asked why they're replacing the sensor, as thats no question you should ask me. The CMOS sensor in the phone right now takes the best pictures of any phone on the market as the reviewer said. Nothing more to say about that.

Comparing the phone with any model in the market we can surely call it the best since it has the highest picture quality than all the others.
If you don't like what the reviewer said, write him..not me.

My Canon SD400 takes better pictures than any phone and its a CCD sensor. The point is not whether CCD or CMOS is a better sensor, the point is CMOS can be a great sensor and anyone to say CMOS is somehow bad just has no argurment.
