no no no, not about the phones! i was paraphrasing. Larry was going on about Tim Stevenson vs. Lorne Mayencourt in the provincial election. unfortunately, Mayencourt won, by 18 votes!

    Feud features hostility, homeless

    By Gary Mason

One of the more amusing side stories in the British Columbia election has
been the feud between Vancouver Mayor Larry Campbell and one of the city's
    incumbent Liberal candidates, Lorne Mayencourt.

Mr. Campbell, a Liberal at heart, despises Mr. Mayencourt. It is not an act.
The mayor has called Mr. Mayencourt a "menace to the city." He's publicly
raised the hand of Mr. Mayencourt's arch challenger in the election, Tim
Stevenson, and declared: "This is the man who is going to kick the living
    *** off of Lorne Mayencourt."
    I BRICKED MY GALAXY S2.

but actually ... what Larry said about Mayencourt actually applies to Telu$:

"Some of the stuff he's said and done is #$%@ unconscionable," Mr. Campbell
    said. "Really, he's a $#$%& disgrace."

****, it's great having a Mayor who doesn't give a flying ****, and just speaks his mind. **** yeah!

i wonder what network he's on?

the Moto phonebook is starting to get loon in the tooth and i really want to see this changed to that of the IDEN line or even the way SE/Nok implments their phonebooks.
refer to my V551 review for more on the phonebook, since it's the same
I have to point out that the phonebook can now be searched by more than the first letter of the name. I don't think the V551 had this (didn't have it long enough before it went out for repair), and it's been a big change for me.

edit: also, your V635 link in your sig is pointed to the V551 review.

    Sandisk 64MB, 128MB (33.99 @ Tigerdirect.ca), 256MB (47.99 @ Tigerdirect.ca)

thats all i can find at present
futureshop.ca has the 128mb sandisk for 29.99 as well.

Another thing for the BT headsets is that with the V635, you have a choice of 4 ringers now, instead of the 1 as on the v551, v600 etc, but you have to set it as the ringtone in your ringstyles.

treatz... for mp3 player don't use the crap java app... use the default sounds setup and setup a playlist etc..etc...

it's much better and not sluggish like the java app.

    Good review treatz.

Just a few days ago I convinced a friend to upgrade to the V635 from a V60. It's definitely a good value for the money.

You don't need MPT to transfer MP3's & Pics to the phone, which is what most people use the cable for...

i could have sworn that my first sw that was on my v635 let me assign any ringtone regardless if it was on the tf or the phone it would let you change storage devices while in the ringtone selection. Must be a seem edit. Because after i reflashed i lost that capability
