I am also a big Nokia fan and have been anxiously awaiting the release of the 6682.
Anyway, I was talking to a Cingular sales rep in a store near downtown Chicago (while my wife was activating her phone). She told me a Nokia rep visitied their store earlier this week and said the 6682 would arrive in the store in late July. She also gave me the 6682 brochure (that the Nokia rep distributed) which basically mirrors what is on the Nokia Internet site.
Take this for what's a worth (I cannot vouch for the rep's accuracy). I'll keep you posted if I receive any updates.

sounds good, the one on ontario? near the expressway and hooters?
i always go to the one near UIC campus, on Halsted Ave. i remember there they had the 7610 brochure, the phone came out...hmm from what i can recall, atleast 1 or 2 months later. this can be excellent for us if it comes sooner, to whoever wants it that is.
might just use my parents upgrade to get that phone,

Much smaller than the 6620. It's not really that much smaller, but it feels alot smaller. There is a pic on my blog of me holding one in my hand, http://stubby.textamerica.com
