Hey all. Finally got all the settings working for Rogers. I can now access the internet and receive MMS on my A1000. I'm posting all my settings here, so in future any other Rogers users won't have to struggle. Mods. could we make this a sticky?

CTRL panel --> Connections --> Internet accounts
You'll have to use GPRS editor if you've already got an accout set up.

    SERVER
    Account name: Rogers WAP
check - username and password required
    username: wapuser1
    password: wap
    (both are case sensitive)
    address: goam.com
tap LOGIN: leave as automatic for IP and DNS
tap PROXY: check mark proxy server
    Proxy server: 208.200.067.150
    Proxy port: 8080

    for MMS
create a new account called : Rogers MMS
    Connection type: GPRS
    tap on ADVANCED
    address: media.com
    check mark USER/PASS required
    USER: media
    PASS: mda01
    (both are case sensative)
tap LOG IN: leave as automatic for IP and DNS
tap PROXY: check mark proxy server
    Proxy server: 172.025.000.107
    Proxy port: 9201

tap on done (three times) till you return to the main menu for internet accounts

    Now tap on MESSAGING ACOUNTS
tap on the right arrow till you reach MULTMEDIA MESSAGE
    MM mesage gateway: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
Internet account: (drop down menu) select Rogers MMS
    check mark PROXY SERVER
    PROXY ADDRESS: 172.025.000.107
    PROXY PORT: 8080
    tap on ADVANCED
Message valid for: (drop down window) MAXIMUM
    Auto Download: ON

I'm not sure why the proxy ports are different, but this is the only way I could get it all to work

Ok so I played around with these settings like for a whole month trying to make my mms work and I finally did it !! Here's the catch....you HAVE to use a rogers phone to send a MMS first.
So if you have a different phone, like this A1000, take your sim out and put it in some rogers phone, send an mms and wait for rogers to send you an "activation" sms back. When you send your first mms, rogers will set up a "mypix" account and will sms back to you telling you how to access it for online viewing of the pictures you sent/recieve.
Once you get this sms, take out your sim and plug it back in whatever phone you're using (A1000 in my case).
    for MMS
create a new account called : Rogers MMS
    Connection type: GPRS
    tap on ADVANCED
    address: media.com
    check mark USER/PASS required
    USER: media
    PASS: mda01
    (both are case sensative)
tap LOG IN: leave as automatic for IP and DNS
tap PROXY: check mark proxy server
    Proxy server: 172.025.000.107
    Proxy port: 9201
I had to change ports from 9201 to 8080 on mine to work. But many thanks to dmg for all the settings.

    a1000 settings

i entered all the settings exactly like it says and it still doesn't work and as usual the people at rogers suck and they said i have to go to a local dealer which i highly doubt they will know how to config the phone
