Heard good things about it...and it can be put on VZW with a bit of ingenuity and proper use of software tools like QXDM...and if I'm not mistaken, one of those people who have done just that is superdavex!

Battery life is the only negative, everything else is excellent.

I'd actually been running my V3m on Verizon firmware for the past 2 years since I was tired of messing with my Motos.

I realize that most people have moved on and left the old E815 behind. I actually just picked one up in perfect condition as a hold over until I decide on some expensive phone to buy.

Does anyone happen to know where any battery can be found that has manufacture date later than like..2006?

Anyone have a data cable they don't need to use anymore?

I have always wanted one of these phones. When I signed up with verizon and got my samsung SCH-A930 the E815 had just been phased out and the verizon store guy had an E815 with some nine inch nails theme loaded on it.

But for 30 bucks I can't really ask for too much..just thought I'd finally give it a try.

Yes it is! I've been on Howard Forums since 2002. You will learn a lot here. I learned almost everything I know from adding ring tones to flashing new software on phones right here. I went through all my E815 stuff for you. Besides the extra battery, I'm sending you a belt clip, extra wall charger and a genuine Motorola car charger. I figure I'd rather see you use it and enjoy the phone then have the stuff just sit. Just don't ever talk on the phone while it's plugged in to the car charger, that tears up the charging port on most phones.
