Excellent job MotoX!! This was one of things that bugged me most about the V3 and now I can't complain about it anymore. This flash reminds me of another question I have had but keep forgetting to ask.
Is there a way though settings or seem edits to make the predictive text input mode the default? I have to start almost all text messages (and now phone book searches) by switching to the predictive mode.
sure, just create a new text message, hit menu, go to entry setup, and change primary setup to iTAP
on the side, does predictive work well for you? i've never had good results with it .. for example, i'm tyring to type HELLO and it comes out with HIDE

Thanks, that is exactly what I needed to know and, yes, I get pretty good results from iTAP. Not perfect but a lot better and easier to use than with the LG phones I had when I was with Sprint.
Well yesterdays upgrade lasted all of 12 hours! Flashed with no problems. Search works great and mem increased to 7512 available and I havn't started on stock deletions yet. 10mb here I come!

on topic - those of you who have flashed this new firmware .. are JPEG images still grainy like in C0R?
- NO BUGS whatsoever!
- Slightly faster menus
- RF seems to be the same as my former C0R firmware
- Improvement in picture and video quality
- Bluetooth connectivity seems to be slightly faster (I use the HS850)
- Battery life (too early to judge)
- Added memory:
Old: 3,358 free space; 6,252 total
New: 5,052 free space; 7,946 total
- Best of all: Phonebook Search (can type in more than one letter to find contact):
Phonebook - Menu - Setup - Search Method - Find
Pay in mind that I am still running the original Cingular flex (065) and not the newer A05. Also, I have NOT done the bootloader refresh (i.e. when I go to bootloader, it still shows the 07E even though it is the newer version).
