New MOTOROLA RAZR V3 Firmware: R374_G_0E.41.C3R_A_reflash.shx

Hi all,

I have an unlocked ATT V3XX. It's been awhile since I messed with it and I don't remember much about what I did or how I did it! I think I updated the firmware and I know I flashed a new modded skin.

Here is what it says I have in the "other information" in the phone status section:

Flex version- USIZARREFRESHATTUSA R27231054
S/W Version- R27231_U_97.04.2BR
DSP SW Version- 53280000

I see above referenced firmware R374_G_0E.41.C3R_A_reflash.shx. Can/should I flash?

Don't do that unless you want a phone that will not work any more. This file is designed for the v3 only. It will permanently crash other models. You ned software that starts with R27231 to work with the v3xx.

The reason I ask is that I just started reusing my Motorola Razr V3. Had it unlocked about 4 years ago and moved to Baja full time. I just swapped my Telcel sim card and the phone works in a limited way. Calls and texting yes. I can't get Motorola Tools to recognize the Telcel contact list or even the phone (any wonder why? lol).
I would like to use MMS, etc. But that is a Telnor issue which I will have to discuss with them - UNLESS someone here knows differenty and can point me in the right direction.

The phone has the following from Phone Status - Other Information:

Flex: GSTRAZR06ATT01NAODE
S/W VER. R3442A_G_0E.43.08R
DSP S/W VER. 633A3A00

Can & should I update the S/W, etc? I git a bit "chicken" to go there if I don't know how to restore something I have done.
