But he has the 79R2 Monsterpack which contains the flex you're looking for.
Can't you just flash the MP?

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

You won't find one called 79R2. That was a name that was made up at MotoModders do differentiate between the first 79R and the second 79R monsterpacks.

The one I said above is in fact the "79R2".

    Enough said!

Just curious. What is the difference between R374_G_0E.40.98R_reflash_MOTOX.shx and the file on this page?

    The R374_G_0E.41.C3R_A_reflash

There are three major things that I want to tell you about the new firmware.

[*] [Phonebook: Multiple Letter Search Up to 12 characters - Firmware specific]

Go to Phonebook > Phonebook Menu > Setup > Search Method:

    In the Search Method, there are two options;
    1. Jump To - this is what we've been using with the first letter
    2. Find - this option will allow us to do Multiple Letter Search

[*] [After-Call-Bug has been FIXED completely]

    [*] [More Memory Space]

Total Space on RAZR has been increased by about 35% to over 7 MB with the new
    firmware 41.C3R_A!!!

    * Tested on various flex files;

    Stock Moto Flex GTMV3xx000AALV0C3

    T-Mobile Flex GSMV3MXTMB01NA0A5

    Cingular Flex GSMV3xxCIN02NA0A5

    -----------------------------------------------------

    [Download Link]

    R374_G_0E.41.C3R_A_reflash

    Language Pack: 0003

    DSP Version: 62343400

    -----------------------------------------------------

[Extra - Reflash_mlp: Reflash file minus Language Pack]

    R374_G_0E.41.C3R_A_reflash_mlp_MOTOX

    Amazing! Thanx Xmoto!

Newb at this so can please someone tell me:
    - How to make it unbranded? (can i flex it with stock one? and not loose full screen camera and additional space)
    - For SMS I only need to put Roger's MMS settings?

Well, I've been running this for 2 days now with the Cingular 088 flex and I am going back to 9DR. It seemed better at first but after a bit of use I am unsatisfied. The phonebook search is decidedly unimpressive. That and the extra space isn't worth the decreased signal, decreased battery life, and slightly laggier menus that I'm experiencing with C3R.

    Back to the drawing board

    for cingular

I got read of cingular 088 flex and now using stock flex GTMV3xx000AALV0C3
To make it work I had to:
turn on 0032_0001 offset 8B - bit 4: Cingular ENS Capable (1 on, 0 off)
turn off 0032_0001 offset 34 - bit 3: Display Roam Triangle Icon (1 on, 0 off)
and to get stupid voicemail icon to work again:
turn on 0032_0001 offset 02 - bit 1: BLOCKS THESE FEATURES: Call barring, Call transfer, Info Services, do not read VM number from SIM, Voicemail ^@ text messages, Multi-Line Support, My Network List, Manual Network Search (1 on, 0 off - set to 0 to UNBLOCK these features)

Hope this helps, I like how mine works now, it sounded a lot worse with 088

Can't say I've had any of those issues....
    Search....helpful with alot of entries
    Signal ....same
    Battery life...same
    Menu speeds...same...

After upgrading from the first cr and from the 088 flex my reception has dramatically increased. I get signal in places I never got signal before. However, the software lags sometimes, but for better reception its a small sacrifice.
