So, is the song limit issue getting anywhere, Id really like to help with anything i can, because my i398 rocks and all my friends with dodgy E398s are jealous, lol, anyway i have a 256mb card and i can fit a lot more aac songs at 64kbs on there, seems like its a waste at the moment.. Please someone help all of us i398 users....
    Thanks in advance, peace.
true, my bad. well hopefully the limit is upped to 100. then i won't have to buy a pair of portable speakers for my mp3 player, i can just pump more songs into my phone

    Hi All,
It seems that you guys are still in a need of some one to write such an app for you.
I can write such apps in j2me, however, here is some more info.
To do what has been suggested on a given mororolla phone, java code has to access system resources, such as files and folders. At this time access to those resources via java(j2me) is limitied to some specific API's (in motorolla lingo they are called "Closed API's").
The only people who have acces to such API's are business partners with motorolla.
I have communicated with business development team several times over the past year and half without any luck(never even gotten a f***ing response from those idiots.)

So conclusion is yes I can write such an application but need access to mots closed API's for that...

From my point of view Apple are the devil in corporate form and iTunes is it's spawn. The iPod is overated shiny sh*t with bad sound quality (before getting mad you need to hear an iRiver to understand my point) and they charge too much for computers.

Lol a little off topic, but very true, also try the Creative Zen Touch for much superior battery life and sound quality. My Zen has lasted me 22hrs, and yes i left it on over night and timed it, lol. Regardless of this, itunes is neat to have on a fone, as it does provide some capabilities at present that the e398 lacks without modification.

ok, but can someone try that? like edit the java program to read TFlash files just like what iTunes is doing. IMO it's not really that great an app, but hey, i'm running ny phone with a backdated date and though i'm not into OCness (obsessive compulsive) about my schedule, i'd like my phone to be accurate.
