    vodaphone 802sh mp3 playback

    Hi People,

    I just bought a japanese firmware 802sh and I can't playback mp3.

Did a search and it seems that it is solvable by

    1) flashing it to the european firmware (V144?)

    OR

    2) getting the panasonic card reader

Someone told me that the european firmware is unstable for the japanese 802sh. Did anyone managed to get it working properly?

For the panasonic card reader, what must I do to get it working? I may be able to get my hands on the card reader but do I need any software? I am using an Imac (itunes) to encode my mp3. Can I just copy mp3s encoded by itunes into the SD card using the panasonic card reader?

I hope someone can help me out as I searched and cannot find any definite answer.

    Jpn firmware requires card reader
Chinese firmware plays MP3 - STABLE
Euro firmware plays MP3 - STABLE

doesn't matter what firmware you flash your phone to, firmware is firmware. My phone is Jpn but with chinese firmware.

Being able to play mp3 without card reader is very very nice.
