Wow, I got it working on my K700. Thanks for the WAP upload link!
I couldn't BT the .jad file over to my K and wasn't sure what to do.

For a while, I couldn't get it to work.
I was getting the no connection message, then I tried using the SE support site to configure my WAP settings.

I had originally set up my K using the T-Mo configurator, since I couldn't get the SE configurator to work with my phone.

But it's all good now. I'm surfing the web very quickly now, thanks to Opera.

BTW, I'm using the 4.99 unlimited T-Zones plan.

Apparently I just missed the Deaks2 deadline by about 4 hours. Would you be willing to re-host it or can anyone else put it up somewhere??? I'd love to have it. I'm using CoolBrowser now but it's not very good.
Dear Mr. Sigman, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole saturday in detention for whatever it is we did wrong, but we think you're crazy for making us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us, in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out, is that each one of us is a brain, and an athlete, and a basketcase, a princess, and a criminal. Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, The Breakfast Club.

Just want to give a great SHOUTOUT to nmamazon for hooking us up with the link to Opera mini and to Deaks2 for still having it online and available for us s7XX users to download, as i did it just now.
Downloaded it like deaks2 said, changed the language to English, changed the Java internet profile from MMS to Internet/gprs and now my dear dear friends, for the FIRST time ever i've been able to log into my hotmail account from a phone!
That didn't even work on my P800 using opera!
What a brilliant little app this is, such sophistication. Thanks all for the info!!!

    hear, hear!

if there existed HoFo Awards*, this thread and its champions named above would be easy nominees, and well-deserving of a win.

    * "Fo'Hoes"(?) - as in Howard Forums Honors, of course!

the program will be free but it is subjected to the wireless providers decide to install the server side to "squeeze" the normal html page into a cell-phone friendly format, since apps is wireless provider specific.

for now, i think the client points to an european wireless provider. one day, if the provider turns off the server, i think the app (client) will no longer be working.

why not check out this site

well, it depends if your wireless provider supports the program and install the server side.

the client itself is free and i believe it will remain free. it is the server needs to do work.

Actually, Superfire is wrong-o. If you read earlier in the thread, or indeed on the Opera homepage, you'll see the compression server activity takes place at Opera and NOT at the Norwegian service provider. So unless Opera pull the plug themselves, or start charging, the service will remain active AND free!
