    Hello,
first it loads and says "OPERA MINI LASTER" _without_ dots, then it does nothing until I press the navigation-key in any direction. Then it quits and my t610 says "Application error".
One user in a german forum has the firmware version R4C003 and for him it works. All the users which can't get opera to work on a t610 had an older version - except you.
Did you try to download and install the .jad-file via WAP?

REPORT: successful installation and use of opera mini on my Cingular SE T637, R3A025

used the low memory link from atix found here.

with my first attempt i downloaded the lowmem .jar, but the SE AI would not let me overwrite it with the .jad - "Program Exists" or something of that nature (sorry, forgot to notate that). i exited the browser and went to Games & More. Opera came so close to working! "Laster." then one dot, then a second, then a third... then it looked like i was running DSL through my T637 as the screen zipped through the OM welcome screen, something else, and then back to the applications menu. so it was a bust.

then i deleted OM, and went back to the browser where i downloaded the lowmem .jad, exited and voila! changed the language, went to penkeye, and now whoever ends up with my T637 won't have to mess with this crap!

(as before, apologies for the image quality)

He means "Why Access Point?" because for what do you need a accesspoint? You need GPRS and WAP with Opera!

yes thats what i mean, im used to Nokias where they're called access points. i tried GPRS and WAP and both don't work.

i'm using GPRS for "reqwireless" java based browser and it works just fine. I dont understand why Opera is not working on the same setting.

Has anyone found an alternative way to load this on the S710a, other than the Deaks2 links? I uploaded both the .jar and jad to the mobile9 wap upload site, and then tried to dl them via the phone. Whenever I try to dl the .jad file - I get the question: replace existing file? I say yes, then get a message that says replacmnt failed.

I sure would appreciate any other solutions as I wasn't watching this forum when the original links were posted.

    New links needed!!!!!

I had to reflash my phone (Opera worked perfectly on my Z800 via the downloaded links provided here :-)

However, now those links are dead and I tried to upload them on my server and then download into my phone...but it won't download. My phone want to display the page... and now I don't know HOW to download them either from my own space or somewhere else.

Anybody knows what I have to do to DOWNLOAD automatically when I put a link to my own files on the server?

Or better even, anybody has a new link for the jar and jad files?

    Thanks
