Thanks but the same happens.... the z800 browser wants to DISPLAY the page and that fails of course. Like on my server.
Bluetooth or IR don't work.
Is me reflashed browser now crap or what is it? What was the 'secret' with the other link...it worked fine. Is there some specific comand for ftp/http download for the files on the server so that the browser doesn't want to display them but rather DOWNLOAD them?

AND, how did you change it so that NO jad file is required?
AND, what else did you change besides the Name of it...you added John...
i wont tell you about the name...but i have the java mime type on my server. The phone needs it to be able to download it directly. The jad file is not needed at all, it is just a link and some information about the file.
