    Thanks for the reply!

But I just tried it and Opera says it cannot connect to a server. whenever i open the browser, do a search in google (ie weather) and the error message comes up after like 30 seconds in trying to connect.

What I did was install the two files as stated earlier in the thread, then install the .jad file and I actually switched the language to english, but I cannot connect to a site.

I am using a v800 with z800 firmware. I can connect to tmo's site fine with wap settings. Does my phone just not work?

    thanks in advance people!

Why would I want to read 8 pages of posts when someone can easily tell me the answer? I usually do my own research, but in this case Im impatient.

What makes you think someone will have the patients to type out a long answer for you that covers the discussions of the past 8 pages?

Yes, I'm using T-Mobile's gprs settings. But SE did the configuration. I went on SonyEricsson's web site, answered a few questions and 30 seconds later I had the Wap (T-Zones) and MMS settings text messaged to my K700i. I took care of Email on my own manually because I didn't want another Email address. I use Fastmail, which is the best for Imap4 and SMTP. They are web based. I've used them for over 5 years and paid a 1 time $14.95 fee. They are extremely reliable. It's run by a couple of high tech freaks from Australia.

I followed the instructions from Deaks and it worked instantly. If this Opera Mini Browser continues to work out, I'm leaving the Palm platform or cutting back to just one Palm.

SE is better than Palm. Smaller, more efficent web surfing when I need it. I just wish Opera Mini supported secure online trades.

I set up this remote control on my K700i yesterday. Kind of cool to control my PC, Windows Media Player and Intervideo Win DVD. I wish I could use my K700i to control my Sony TV.

I have this "My Friends" in my Messaging icon. Someone told me it's Yamigo so I'm going to set that up soon. I wonder how good of a messaging client it can be.

I'm on T-Mobile's $19.99 unlimited Data plan because I need access to htpps sites and I use the phone as a bluetooth modem to connect to my laptop sometimes.

    My phone is unlocked.

My question? uhh... i forgot. lol jk.

For anyone that has Tmobile, did they get charged somehow using Opera on their phones assuming they dont have a GPRS plan or any internet plan? I actually went through all 8 pages and I havent seen an answer for my question. Thanks and I apologize to anyone I was being rude to.
