    6590: mailbox # invalid

    has anyone had this problem?

held down "1" to call voicemail. phone said, save mailbox number first. i punched in my phone # and tried to save but the phone kept saying "invalid number..."

the funny thing is that i saved this number before without any problems on the same phone. for some reason, it must have lost the number and asked for it again. anyone experienced this with their 6590?

The same thing happened to me on my 6590. I just powered the phone off and when I turned it on again, my voicemail number was again programmed in the "1" slot and everything was OK. Only happened to me once.

that happen to me all the time. everytime i call 611 they fix it but than the same problem reappeared.
i found a solution. dont press the "1" button to access your voicemail. for me, i just go to the"dialed numbers" and look for "voice mailbox".'cause i got tired calling 611 all the time.
    that's how i do it.

Turning the phone on/off temporarily fixes the problem. The easiest fix is to program your VM # into another speed dialing location like you would for any other person. You'll never have any problems ever again.
