    Ahh help?
Hmmm? Sorry, don't understand what you mean, but just go to www.google.com and do a search on "unlocking cell phones" or something of that sort and you'll definitely come up with lots of links.

To get you started, try http://mobile.box.sk/. If you do more digging, it won't take you long to find places that sell equipment that'll unlock phones (including your Nokias).

    Good luck!

just thought i'd say that unlocking phones without the proper knowledge and software is a recipe for an instant paperweight....

and nokia 8210 does not equal to nokia 8290 or any other european equivalent to north american models, in terms of unlocking, the software is incompatible.

you'll probably find lots of stuff regarding european models, but north american flash files are rare.

and the 3390 also has an auto-locking trigger mechanism in the software....

    Blunt Display of Stupidity again!!

Our friend AzimuthX wanted to know HOW to unlock a phone, not WHO to get to unlock it.

If you were smart, you wouldn't point someone to Ebay to LEARN HOW to unlock a phone.

Is this the kind of information you tell to your customers? Cuz it's wrong and inaccurate. People should be fired for that ...

Not the safest business but you make money.

You are buying phone which a company has rights to, so they lock it too. When you unlock it, you are breaking something bah I dunno wut im talking / referring to. But its just not legal.

Modchips, instead of a chip, you put codes. Now you can play/use any games/sim.
The company doesn't have any "rights" to the phone. You bought it you can do anything you want with it. You can have "fun" like another member did on this forum and drop it off a 10 story building if you want to. The carriers lock the handsets so you will use the handset with their service. The carrier has contributed a subsidy on the phone so you the subscriber are not paying the full retail on the handset. Once you have the handset however you are free to do with it what you wish. If you choose to try and have the handset unlocked that's your privilege. However, if you make a paper weight out of your phone that's also your problem.
