It depends on the market (ie, zip code), and date when you start the respective Fair and Flexible plan.

For the Fair & Flexible Family plan how many additional minutes do you get for $5 when you go over your plan minutes? Curently looking on the Sprint site it says $5 for 100 minutes but last time I checked a few days ago it said $5 for 50 minutes and it looks like they've been changing it back and forth on the Sprint website this month. The reason I ask is that I've had 4 sprint lines for almost 2 months now and I am about to merge them all into a Family plan so I want to get the most out of it.

my zipcode is 11230 and I plan on making the changes on October 5th or so
Oh hey neighborYou are in the Sprint corporate markets then and then you would be getting the NEW FF plan which apparently gets only 50 mins overage for $5. I think it is like a tradeoff since they include Mobile - Mobile in the FF plans (corporate markets) now which is at least a $5 value.
I'll try calling Sprint next week to get some clarity, really hoping to get 100 min overage for $5
The corp markets still do have $5/100 overage on FAMILY PLANS. The indivdual plans recently changed to $5/50.
If you commonly type the name iPhone as "Iphone" or "I-Phone"... or if you commonly refer to an iPod Touch as an "iTouch" or "I-Touch"...... Then you deserve whole bottle of habanero hot sauce poured into your eyes!
Oh, excellent then! Hope it stays that way, for family.Originally Posted by EliteABombAZ
Yes, if you have not looked lately, both the Flexible and Family plans have changed a bit. But the plans with $5/50 do have more minutes in the minimum mo. rate. You really need to calculate your average monthly usage before making a switch, IMO.
I wonder if the reason why you maybe confuse is because you might look into the Fair & Flexible Individual plans? Those are the ones that charge $5 for 50 minutes if you go over.. A few of my friends asked me the same question, and it turn out that they glanced at the wrong area when looking at the plans..Originally Posted by greendx
