I think the only difference with my setting is that I left my port as 8080. See if that works.

    i have a d500 on t-mobile uk

i have similar settings to yours except my ip address is meant to be 149.254.211.010

the problem with this is, for some reason, the 0 from the last 010 (has anyone else experienced this?), keeps getting erased everytime i save the settings so it reads 149.254.211.10

i am able to access t-zones with http://wap.t-mobile.co.uk (and the above settings) but am not able to send/receive picture messages. it responds with 'cannot connect to server'.

i tried the ip address you have (out of sheer desperation after weeks of trying to get it to work) and it returned 'server not responding', which i guess was expected seeing as you're on t-mobile usa.

the problem is, t-mobile uk are not due to have this phone released until late january 2005, so all i can do is wait for them to release it before asking them for the settings.

    P735 or D415?

Are the settings for the D500 similar to the P735 or D415? I would think the WAP and MMS settings would be closer to the D415, right?

I used the settings for the P735 from T-Mobile's website since it is most similar to the D500 in terms of features and specs. But it shouldn't be too different from the D415 either.

i had the same prob. mine works fine now i got the same errors on port 8080 but one time i tried it just to double check and it worked. i was also told to try switching the band from the 1900 to the 900/1800 then going back. no sure if that actually does anything but i tried it and it didn't work. but like i said, 8080 just started working one day for me. i hope this helps.

In previous Samsungs, T-Mobile had three profiles as the first one was for GPRS, the second was for CSD (if GPRS network was not available) and the third one was for basically roaming and to get it back on GPRS after going through the first two profiles.

That said, I just looked on my E635 and there is only one Profile which is the first one I listed for WAP.
