    lol, it's still symbian....

...and that is an ugly mofo of a smartphone...

...plus no EDGE (though of course a later N. American version could have it).

Has no edge, since its not really for "America" they support UMTS on the other side of the pond aka 3G.

    UMTS - E-GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900 and UMTS 2100

Isn't "enhanced" GSM 900 just EDGE @ 900Mhz instead of what NA calls EDGE (@ 850Mhz)? Normal UMTS is 2100Mhz. Either way, it's not for NA. Never heard of E-GSM on 900Mhz before.

    e-GSM does not mean EDGE
EGSM has existed since before EDGE

2MP is fine for me - I just wanted quadband + UMTS - like the A1010

I guess this phone will be good to use some time at the end of next year when 3G kicks into effect in the U.S., otherwise for us 850mhz people, no luck.

Post How about proper PIM synching?

I still cannot get over the fact that SE's top of the line business model phone (current P800, 900, 910) cannot sync between a PIM's folders/categories and the phone's folders.
Do you think SE's product managers will have realized, by now, that they really need to provide this "simple" function to their users?
You think the P990 will finally have this feature in its PCSuite application? Or, maybe they will go back to the XTNDConnect application that used to work so well in the T68 days.
    I am just hoping

Not necessarily angel.. Sometimes we get ours later.. Like the 6680 first, 6682/81 later. I would've considered this, but edge is a deal breaker for me, even with wifi. -olly

Anyone knows how the screen works? Its 320x240 but the keyboard seems to be a permanent feature, so how does it display the full QVGA?
