I am in the NYC area and am having problems making phone calls. I have to dial like 20 times tonight to make a single phone call. It is horrrible tonight. It looks like I might be switching again. Cingular is usually verry good but I am getting pissed with them lately and when I have problems I just leave for the discount on a new contract with a new provider.

I find if I take the battery out it will work to make one call then goes back to this network busy message.

I just called AT&T customer service. They say MMOde is not functioning for all of New York and New Jersey. No estimate as to when it will be fixed. Don't know about MediaNet.

I noticed last night about 10PM there was no EDGE/GPRS icon in my phone for my entire area. Voice calls were working ok. It must have come back overnight because when I woke up in the morning the EDGE indicator was back.

Sounds like they were doing some kind of upgrade.
    I DON'T HAVE A SIGNATURE....SORRY

I had a problem aroud 10pm on Friday night with data in my area. Also, I've noticed a sudden drop off in signal and then it would come back. Perhaps they are still working on integration and it is not completely done as we thought a couple of weeks ago.
You're reading this hoping to find something enlightening or funny. Dissapointed huh?

NYC's integration is complete... I've talked to the network ops people about it a number of times. I'm guessing it was some other issue. Either way, the NYC issue was fixed.

NYC was a much easier integration than somewhere like DC.

Why Flip the damm switch and move on with it.

I have noticed that my phone sometimes now goes to 410 in a ATTW area is that good news? It happens by the towers that now have new panels hanging on them.
