    PEBL boost

    jrsjr, I used offset DC on my PEBL to control Bluetooth headset microphone gain... in my case I just had to change it to a value higher than 12 to get a decent boost in volume. I'm currently on 1A and may go a tad higher.

    @djdownhill:
    it doesn't appear to have really done the job. offset 238 got cranked up, but, as i said, i don't believe that's the correct offset for the pebl. i think we both know that these "easy to use" programs simply use xlr8's table as a basis, so they don't do anything different than we would do with a straight gain table edit. i'm open to suggestions.

    I got a bit bold (desperate) and figured I would try this out on my Mac. You guys had really shown the way here and I couldn't quite find a Mac equivalent but I finally found some good supplemental advice that pointed me to moto4lin.

    After getting this app off the ground (it bears it's own raindance but there is an included explanation), I was able to finally update my gain_table. In the end, 12 for offset DC just wasn't loud enough in my BT headset... I'm trying out 1A and it's much better. I can't believe it finally works and I almost want to jack the volume higher to convince myself it's actually working

    thank you thank you thank you!!!

    Moto4Lin is a great program.
    I am using a KRZR and this program, and I can't even find my gain table... where was it on the pebl?

    /edit found it
