Has anyone have any problems with the bluetooth disconnecting? I have a razr and moto hs810. I changed the offset DC from 08 to 12. The volume from the bluetooth headset increased greatly!!! But now after like 15 min of talking the phone starts to beep and it says "bluetooth signal weak switch to phone" or something like that.
I know its not the battery because the headset is fully charged.
Has anyone tried
offset DC bluetooth headset call gain (original setting: 08, recommended setting: 0F) at 0F?
and
offset 238 bluetooth headset microphone gain (original setting: 08, recommended setting: 1B) at 1B?
any distortions? any complaints from people you've called? Thanks.

After performing the mic gain hack, people say that I am much easier to hear on my headset. In fact, they can't tell the difference between that and when I use the handset, unless I'm in my car with all the road noise and stuff. No one has said anything about distortion.
Adjusting the speaker gain for bluetooth to 0F does occasionally create some distortion at volume level 6 and 7 when the caller is very loud. I notice that when I talk to someone on a T-Mobile cell phone, I have to turn the volume down a bit because they come through louder than others and setting volume at 6 or 7 does lead to some minimal distortion. However, I need those high volumes when I talk to people on landlines, because they come through much quieter. In those cases, setting volume to 6 or 7 does not create any distortion at all. I think 0F is a good setting. Of course, I was the one doing the recommending in the map.txt file.

what about microphone gain with just the handset mic, and not the bluetooth mic. I would think changing the sensitivity would make it omnidirectional or something and cause it to pickup more background noise, but i could be wrong, sounds like from the bluetooh mic it would be benefitial.
i just checked out this out on my a630 and well it made the volume a lot louder but it caused a few problems.. one of them is while talking the phone decided to switch the headset off, another problem is while in standby and its just on your ear i hear some static all the time coming from the headset.. i lowered the value to 0C and I'm testing that out. anyone have these problems?
have you tested it fully? i had it set to 0F and it made the phone loose track of the headset.
right not i have it set to 0C and it seems ok, i might try 0D.
