dont expect to see this phone in Nov, my contact at verizon said they are having to many problems with it, wont be until Dec 7 maybe
I've also heard many people who are testing the phone say it wasn't doing well either. I really hope it gets straightened out. There are many people who want this phone as a Christmas present.

Testing what? The phone was designed by tested and manufactured by Moto.
Worked fine for them!
Now VZW comes along and wants to "F" with it. And now they have to test is all over agin becuse it is not the same device that Moto originally designed.
When will the sell of these devices be taken out of the hands of the service providesers and put back into the hands of the engineers that designed them. Like we do with our PCs and our ISPs!
My point being said is please don't hijack my thread with "he said she said" release dates. If you want to do that make your own thread. VZW is trying as hard as possible to get this phone out to you guys before Christmas.

Also... judging by the amount of posts on this thread, it seems that Best Buy is going to have a whole bunch of RAZRs that they have unpacked but can't sell... haha... shame on them :-P

I have a feeling BB will start selling them early without permission. There is always a lot of confusion about when phones can be sold. Especially for retailers. I bet a lot of people will get lucky and get BB to sell them one early.

lol could you imagine if providers just released phones with out any testing. You think phones are buggy now when released? Testing is a necessary process in phone releases. End of discussion.

The only part of the device they need to test is the radio. The PDA part they dont need to test.
$399 isn't too bad, considering I paid about $300 for my v710, when it first came out. I'm sure that the price will drop quick, especially after the new year.

My contact at Verizon has said we should not expect to see the RAZR released this year. The RAZR has not tested well and rumors are it’s the internal antenna. The last report was Motorola was talking with LG about a stub antenna design for the RAZR. You heard it here first.
