Not the top of the line phones

You guys helped me to decide that I would get the Moto815 for myself. I am adding a second line for my wife. Mostly for after hours talk, and mostly for emergancies. It needs a good battery and good reception. She doesn't need a camera or games or any of that stuff. We want the phone to be free, when we sign up, so it obviously needs to be the lower end ones. Which phone is the best of the cheap ones, lol. Is it the Sammy 650 or 630 or another brand?

The Motorola V276 is a pretty good phone, has great reception, and it's free with a 2 year contract. The Samsung a650 has been discontinued, but some stores still carry it.

I agree on the V276 and it uses the same charger as the E815 which is convenient. Reception is top notch like your E815 and the interface is the same. I'm pretty sure there are indirect dealers who give them away free, and it's the only GOOD cheap phone. DO NOT get the Audiovox 8910, or variant, as I've heard they're nothing but trouble. To put it in perspective the V276 is $49 through Verizon and the LG VX-3300 (lowest end phone) is $59.99. If you have a costco nearby, look into adding a line there, as they discount the phone slightly, waive activation and give free accesories. The V276 is their most affordable phone.
