My phone had a little fall today and now the screen is black. You can barely see the screen when you have a light up to it so its still working but its just black. I guess a bulb or something broke in it. The phone works just fine but the screen. Should I trash it or is there a way to fix it?

Fix the damn thing!I bought a Virgin Mobile V7 Flasher that was busted on ebay for $14 shipped.....heres my story: I busted the cable that goes form the circuit board to the screen when I was installing a new case on it. Bought the VM phone, swapped the part, and it works great!
Either that, or wait for a parts phone to come up.....I would try fixing it with swapping parts before you junk it.HTML Code:http://cgi.ebay.com/Audiovox-Flasher-V7-CDM8910VM-Virgin-Mobile_W0QQitemZ5827924191QQcategoryZ64355QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Is it still under warranty?
not trying to hijack the thread, but I cracked the outside lcd screen. Is there any way to fix it without sending it in?
Thanks.
I did both, my outside lcd screen has been cracked for months and the inside screen is now completely dead. I know Verizon has a Rapid Exchange program that they do. Just go to the store and tell them you need a rapid exchage and they give you a factory refurbished phone on the spot. The only catch is that you can't do that after a year

I suppose if you bought an otherwise damaged 8910 off ebay and had the skill to do a switch...Originally Posted by mattjam
