bump on eye bag

yo guys~
woke up today and theres a big red bump on my eye bag.. doesnt itch or anythin.. feels cold when i close my eyelid thats all~

anyone hv a clue what it is? too lazy to go see a doctor, it shouldnt be serious

is it an allergy against a cream you have used? (I saw a girl who used some cream and her eyes/eyebags went funny. My eyes go funny if raw seafood gets into my eyes (e.g. water used to wash prawns).

Eye...bag...I guess the part under your eye where 'bags' would form? I dunno, I don't get bags under my eyes.

Anywho, if there is no itching or swelling, then you probably don't have Pink Eye...which is a good thing. If the bump is actually on the lower eye-lid, it could be a sty. If it's actually under the eye in the luggage area, might just be an insect bite or allergic reaction.

What you have is a called a stye. It is an infection that grows on the tissue of skin below the eye. They can also be commonly found on the eyelid. The best thing you can do for it is to hold a hot rag on it. It should eventually go away in a few days on its own. They can on occasion get hard and have to be surgicaly removed, but if you hold a hot rag on it for a few minutes a few times a day it will be gone in no time.

I can attest to the fact that the hot rag idea works. I had a bump a couple of days ago on the bridge of my nose, I put the hot rag on it and it is almost gone.
