I've tried that and it always gives me and update failed. My phone is a cingular phone unlocked using suncom as my carrier.
It worked fine for me when I helped a friend setup her Suncom V600 (formally AT&T V600). I believe I deleted all the entries in the websessions file prior to doing the ota update by using the hex edit method on xlr8's site to unlock them. I preferred doing it that way, rather than simply deleting the entire websession file using one of the p2k programs like some people do.
If you get the "exceeding maximum limit" error, you need to go into the mms message setup and delete any stray server entries in there prior to receiving the OTA update.

Anyone had any luck with Suncom MMS on a V3i ???
I just unlocked a Blackberry 8700c PDA and I'm actually using it as a phone with SunCom as a carrier. Can someone help me on getting the gprs settings to connect it to the internet, and how to load these settings into the PDA?
