Got my samsung v205 1 hour ago!!

I have the phone. Got it an hour ago!! So far I am impress..haven't messed with it to much yet but being an ex-s105 user and going to this one I'm pretty happy so far. The only complaint that I have now is ..the lcd screen looks smaller than the s105..but that could be me. The color is awesome...and the pictures are really nice. The ringtones..do sound like real music. Well thats it... Imma messed with it a little more!!!! And I'll post again later!!

How did you get rid of your S105? Did you return your S105 and trade it in for the V205? Did you pay $450 for the V205?

I havent messed with it much but so far its pretty nice. I sold my s105 to a family member and they took over my line. I got the v205 on another line ..it was 449 dollars ..the dealer hook me up and gave me 35 credit for my activation and threw in a charger. Let me messed with it a little!!! Ill let you know in a bit thanks!! I got that little kid in a candy store feeling with this phone!! haha nice!!

i wouldnt get it then, i mean come on......... why would you pay that much for no java? I got my s105 for that one reason. But i still would get it if it were like, 300 dollars cheaper. But you're still lucky! PICS PICS PICS!

Wow.... I really wanna hear the 40 instrument ringtones......... i was amazed to hear my 16 chord, imagine it three times that.... *wow*

I'm really interested in the picture quality...can you get some sample pics up? If the camera isn't very good i'll probably go ahead and get the S105 off Amazon because it's either Camera or Java for me.

gprs 2.04 works with it so those of you who have irda cables and want this phone hehe you will have fun. Just put my phone book list into the phone nice..let me check the ringtones next!!!

The 40 poly phonic ringtone thing is pretty good but ...some of the ringtones i wanted to put into my phone still has that distorted sound to it....i dunno!!!! Maybe i should bring this phone back now!! with easy gprs... i can only send 16 polyphonic ringtones to the phone.it wont let me send 40 polyphonic ringtones to it!! Im sure of it!!! this really sucks!!! some of the more advance ringtones sound distorted on this phone like the s105 but not as bad!! maybe they should have included a speaker or walky talky type speaker to make up for the distorted sound!!

Ok the camera is ok.... i tried both in light and not in light picture taking. In the light the pics look great.. but in places that dont have much light like at parties or clubs and stuff you wont get a great pic out of it. wish this phone came with a flash option. The sanyo 5300 looks good right about now!!

SO yea, post up those pics you took if possible. Does it not come with a data cable? Do you know if the data cable from the S100 is compatible with it?
