Haha... you know it's because you're viewing it from a mobile device, don't you? I guess your device has "decided" not to load an external image and a very large one (2MB) and instead showed you this frog LOL. If you view this post on a PC/Mac/laptop the image shows up as expected.

    Ha! cat feet.

The camera on the 7218U is so much better than I was expecting, I did a comparison and it's def better than the X10, even at night shots. Looks like I may be able to risk not bringing my 903 when I know pictures are going to be taken.

Why oh why did they not just put this camera module in the other sharp androids?

I don't know, the pictures doesn't seem very sharp to me, they seem a little soft... or is it just me?

Some comparison shot between my SH-07B and my friend's Nikon COOLPIX P80. (keeping in mind that the SH-07B is a phone, it's really not that bad)

    1. Cake

I think both look equally as good. The macro on the P80 can get a much closer shot than the SH-07B.

    2. Pudding

I definitely prefer the SH-07B for this one (look at the design on the chocolate), but I'm thinking the lack of natural light facing the dish when the P80 took the shot probably made the chocolate lose it's sharpness.

    3. Strawberry

Both me and my friend were debating whether which one looked better. I found his one too saturated and unnatural and he found mine too 'blue'. What do you guys think?

    4. Receipt

Again, the P80 can focus more closely. Even though the SH-07B's shot is a little darker, it seems more richer in colour.

So really, I think the SH-07B's camera is pretty comparable to a point-and-shoot camera. The Nikon P80 is a great camera as well, especially it's zoom (from my experience).

Nikon COOLPIX P80: 10.1MP NIKKOR LENS, 4.7-84.2mm 1:2.8-4.5, EXPEED Image Processor
SH-07B: 12.1MP CCD LENS, ProPix Imaging Processing Engine

The advantage over the phone is that the Nikon has optical zoom (hence the better macro quality). What if you were to shoot at the same distance apart where the images would be at an equal distance? I think then, the only differance in quality would be the colors, as the sensor would be a little more high-tech.
As for the image quality, it's fantastic!

    Try a lower resolution.
