v360 P2K connection help needed!!

Alright,
I read a lot on how to connect and I tried a bunch of things. I'm working with windows 2000. I have installed p2kcommander, mobile phone tools (MPT) & p2kmanager.

Here's what I can do:
- synchronize with MPT (phone numbers & calander)
- read my phone as a drive (memory card)

Here's what I can't do:
- when in p2kcommander and I choose "p2k mobile phone" it kicks back to c:/
This is written beneath: 'No p2k device found, NOT connected, USB IO time-out!, CMD: Data write fail!, Volume name fail!
- P2k man also says 'phone not connected'
- the multimedia center doesn't work when I select it in MPT

in the Devices directory I only see: Motorola usb modem.
I tried several drivers. the 2.9 version I found here on hofo somewhere.. the drivers that came with p2kcommander, p2kman. I even used the drivertool.zip

But nothing helps for p2k to find my phone!
Is there some particulair order in which i need to install the drivers?
Is there someone who can guide me step by step thru the connection process?

on the phone: menu>settings>connection>usb settings>change memory card to data/fax. then you'll need to load the p2k drivers for the phone. theyre all over the forum just doa search, or you can get tehm at the motomodders download section

I have the same issue - did the data/fax setting - still can't load p2k drivers - MPT is OK.

i had the same problem, i tried every driver out there but still could never make p2k recognize my phone. the only thing that worked was downloading Motorola Midlets Manager 0.667 and keep it minimized. if i close the program, p2k stops recognizing the phone. i still dunno why

My brother's put a phone lock code on my V360 the smartass , and now he's gone camping for 2 fkn weeks on holiday.. :| .. and since i cant change the 'USB mode' from Memory Card to Phone to get the unlock code .. how can i get into it??
( I need this also for reference incase it happens again /:| )

.. So in short , can you change the phone to read the phone itself n not the memory card without going into the settings on the phone?
