W600 - battery life and charging question

just got my SE W600 three days ago and i am in love. that being said, i have a few questions about battery life and charging:

    1. when the phone is all the way charged (i've left it charging over night), it seems like the battery meter is at about 95%. why is this? why does it not charge 100% and show the battery icon as being fully green?

    2. i am only getting about one day of use from this phone and then the battery is about dead. i use it about 1-2 hours a day for phone, 20 mins. or so for music, 6-7 pics, a couple vids and no data / web browsing. someone on another thread said his phone (a nokia 6682 or something) did that for a week or so initially, but now he's getting 3-4 days of use on one charge.

any help on these two questions would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

dont worry about what the battery meter says. just go by what the battery strength is in the phone status menu.

I'm getting about two days from mine which is saying alot considering I talk alot on the phone and the Bluetooth is on 24/7.

ok, my battery life keeps jumping around. 54% then 2 mins. later with no use, 44%, then 31%, then 53%...i am so confused. what's going on here?

i did find this in the back of my SE W600 user guide:

"a new battery or one that has not been used for a long time could have reduced capacity the first few times it is used."

i guess i will wait and see.

charging it a few more times will give you more optimal results from battery life.

Now here is the tricky question:

When I first get a Li-class battery phone, what do I do first.

    A. Pop in the battery, drain it by usage, then charge for 6 hours.
    B. Charge before first use for 6 hours ----- what i do
    C. Something else

    ?

i've heard so many conflicting reports about the first charge on a li-ion battery. the SE W600 manual says to give it a full charge upon first use.

    what did you do?
