Try calling again. I got a replacement when ordering on Thursday. The "B" version really makes a world of difference from the "A" version.Originally Posted by ladysman

By the way, the rep knew all about the B version.
So... I've had my "B" version for about a week now. The first couple of days it was much better than the "A" version, but people are back to telling me they can't understand me very well![]()
What should I do? I have a headset that I have to remove whenever I talk to someone!!!![]()
Get a refund.Originally Posted by confused!
I have an 850 which I would describe as OK, but I would prefer to get something that has noise cancellation. Unless Moto quickly improves the quality of their offerings in this category, it will be time to look into something else.
I just got a B version H700 to replace my H500. The date code is 06086N. Can someone tell me what the actual date would be? I understand the 06 is for 2006 but not sure on the rest. Thanks.Originally Posted by hassiman
Have you tried unpairing the phone and then re-pairing? I've heard that in some instances this can fix things.Originally Posted by confused!

My new B model sounds great!
Thanks, Hassiman. What phone are you using it with? I had originally had an H500 but was having problems with it so Motorola kindly replaced it with the H700 B version. I haven't tried it yet though. I really think I'm gonna like having this flip the boom to open feature as opposed to having to hold down the button for a few seconds (sometimes I would hold it too long and end up putting it in pairing mode, would drive me crazy).Originally Posted by hassiman
I use mine with the Moto V3 RAZR
Well, it was a replacement sent to me by MOTO to replace the "A" version that sucked...Originally Posted by Ronin1
Thanks. I tried mine last night and it works great with my E815. People say I sound good, and no echo like I had with the H500.Originally Posted by hassiman
I have a Treo 650 CDMA (Telus Canada), I have a B version of the H700 and a date code of 06082N syn1311B. What a crappy combo! The B version of this headset on a CDMA phone is so static riddled that I will not use it and I am taking it back to my dealer to exchange for anything else. I can have the phone 6 inches from the headset and it still does not make a difference in the amount of static. So for those of you with a CDMA phone don't automatically asume the B version will work for you. Boooo Moto.
From all that I've read/heard, it seems to depend upon what phone you have as to how well a particular headset will work. For instance, a particular model of Jabra may work great with the Treo, while the H700 may work great with an E815. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is what seems to be the case in most instances.Originally Posted by LiveOnLocation
I just called again. The KEY when calling is to say you have had it for a least a month (the first time I said it was only 5 days.) He immediately setup an RMA to send it to some funky address in Ft Worth Tx. I am sending it back tomorrow. he noted a problem with the A version and I will be getting a b version. I will report back next week on how it works. I am using mine with a razr as well.Originally Posted by DanielNTX
