    Toronto Ultra-portable Averatec Laptop w/ 1 GB Ram, Warranty till 09/2007 - $1000 (GTA) PICS!

    For Sale:
    An EXCELLENT condition Averatec 3220-H1 Laptop.

    Features:
    THIN and LIGHT! ~1-inch thick and ~4.5 lbs!!
    Processor: AMD Mobile Athlon 2200+ [1]
    RAM: 1 GB (1 DIMM) Crucial PC2700 DDR33
    HDD: 40 GB
    Screen: 12.1" XGA (1024x768) Very bright and crisp

    Other features and capabilities:
    -> CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo Drive (this one has run CDs other drives will not even recognize!)
    -> 3 USB 2.0 ports
    -> Ralink 802.11g Wifi Card (built-in)
    -> Ethernet and 56K Modem
    -> Video out
    -> 1 PC-card (aka PCMCIA) slot
    -> Battery easily lasts ~1.5 hours, maybe more depending on how you use the computer.

    Extras:
    -> EXTENDED FUTURESHOP WARRANTY until September 2007! (Receipt included, of course) If absolutely anything breaks, you are covered! That's piece of mind
    -> All the CDs that came with the computer as well as Windows XP Home Standalone CD (in case u don't like the annoying/extra software that comes bundled as a default: Norton Antivirus 2004, MS Works 7.0, Cyberlink DVD Solution)

    This laptop is in 100% working order and 9.9/10 cosmetic condition. Just very miniscule marks one the back-left corner from putting it in my backpack. The top and rest of the body are virtually scratch-free.

    Notes:
    [1] The official spec for this model is a 2000+ processor, however, both the BIOS and Windows report the processor as being 2200+ so I'm guessing that's because Averatec ran out of 2000+ processors
    [2] If you like to use Linux, you would be happy to know that I installed SUSE Linux 10.0 and both the wireless card and sound card were working flawlessly (as those two usually give problems in Linux in most laptops)

    I paid:
    $1747 + ~$200 (RAM upgrades) = ~$1950. My price: $1000 firm!

    Still available!

    I'm also willing to trade for a Dell Inspiron 700m/710m or a Dell Inspiron 6000 with a SXGA+ screen or better (I will add cash, of course)
