I got a BT-500 adapter from eBay for $1.99 plus shipping that uses widcomm drivers from 2002. I hunted around and got reasonably current drivers with decent instructions. I had MPT using bluetooth with mt KRZR in fairly short order.

BTW - No affiliation with selling these on eBay or the instruction site. Just a happy user of both .

    Question Latest D-Link not Widcomm?

I was thinking of buying a new D-Link DBT-120 because it supports both USB 2.0 and BT 2.0 and there is a $10 rebate and free shipping on NewEgg. But after downloading the latest driver and seeing only "Toshiba" and no "Widcomm", I found this comment on NewEgg:

"With revision C1, drivers are no longer Widcomm"

As far as I can tell, that is true. So I'm going to keep looking...

Honestly I use the Bluesoleil drivers and while they're probably not as good as Widcomm, I've had absolutely no problems and for the $6 total I paid for the dongle, I'm not complaining.

I just downloaded the drivers for the ENCORE ENUBT-C1E to take a look and it uses the BlueSoleil drivers.

The Kensington 33348 apparently uses the broadcom drivers.

These are both USB 2.0 & BT 2.0 dongles like the L-Link. I would like to get a dongle that supports those new standards, but it looks like none of them use Widcomm drivers anymore.

I see. I'll just get one that uses the Broadcom drivers then.

Unless someone has tested out the Toshiba drivers that D-link is now using and can verify their functionality.
