Cap on v3 Razr's USB port

I got myself a new razr from Rogers today and am happy with it so far. I noticed that there is no protection cap on the usb port of the phone. I remember there was one on the demo unit in the store. I am pretty sure that I didn't just lose it since I haven't plugged anything in yet. Anybody know if I got screwed or if it's supposed to be like this?

the dummy phone on display has no usb port, its filled in with a rubber plug, the actual retail phone has no sort of cover for this port, its completely normal.

Great, good to know I didn't get scammed.

Now I'm just scared that gunk will get clogged up in the port.

i had meh step-father make a small cap outta aluminum and its nice....the only problem is when i take it off and put it back on it seems to get worn down on the edges....so i feel like its gonna fall off...but it works pretty good.

FTR: no i can have more made....he was complaining that it took 6 hours to design and 15 minutes cut the first one...he will never do it again.

I would dearly love to know if anyone out there knows where I could get one of those rubber plugs for the mini USB port. I know they are out there, I just can't FIND the dratted things!

take one off a V180 and trim off the excess rubber and it should fit just fine.
