e398 can't hear anything

during voice calls.. i can't hear anything volume is up.. when i turn on speaker phone then i can hear things.. but with out speaker phone i can't hear anything
atm i have pcmmod 1.4c e398@rokr.. i dont think nething wrong with the fw just my phone.. i've changed the case.. so i think i might of scrweed something up during the change of case so if someone knows the solution would be great

did u make a backup revert back to your original and try to flash to something else what was your phone before that?

i restored my phone back to i398 and there still no sound coming out


speaker phone still works..

why is this happenign? because i dropped it? didnt' change the case properly? didn't change pds correctly havn't flashed properlY?

I restored a back up of shoey's mp n yea still the same problem

open your phone again and put again the earflap in it's place.

I found this post and looks like I have the same problem. I have E398 with Eyesonly's Custom V398 Monster Pack and have been working good ever since and today not sure what happen to my phone.

The speaker phone still working good and also the headset is working well, but the volume of earpiece is just so low.

I have volume setting at 4,1,4,1,8. I even set earpiece to 8,1,4,1,8 and still not lound.
Did anyone experience this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

I have the same problem with a brand new rokr I just got off Ebay. The earpiece on the phone doesn't work at all. When I switch the call to speakerphone or use the handsfree headset it works.
