Skins help needed

I have downloaded some skins that have Sistem and Flex directories.My question is what happens if i install the skin like any other skin without using the files from flex and sistem directory?Will the skin work properly?Thanks

the system files are mostly menu files. there are many skins that have only the main menu icons changed, that's why the creator put the menu file.

the flex files are for applying the skin through the old-fashioned PST manner. mowadays most modders use p2kcommander or moto4lin.

so the answer is yes, if the skin is bug free it will work without the system files, but it will not look so good. your best bet is to find a skin with a complete set of icons and a DRM to match it, or find a skin without the icons (it will use the Moto icons).

That's right. You don't and you won't.

V400/V500 doesn't support skins. A little searching here would have told you that. But then, who's got time to bother with that, right?
