That is with a two year contract. Maybe your b2b price is different than mine?

FWIW, According to a post over at TreoCentral's forums, someone over there indicated that they visited a store and the manager stated that they have them in, but can't sell them until it's in the system at 2pm on Thursday.

Well, to post another anecdote, my store rep said the 6th. I haven't tried other stores around here, but will tomorrow (4th) morning.

Also, re. the NE2 and data plan discounts, they're both for $100 off the 2yr pricing and are NOT stackable.

VZW E -again, thanks for the info. I have a question for you (and anyone with good VZW policies knowledge): I already planned on getting the unlimited data plan, so the $100 off from that is a given.
But I also have the NE2 discount available -since they're both the same discount, does it matter which one? It seems I should get the data discount instead and "save" the NE2 discount for a later date, correct?

It means you're elegible for the 2yr contract pricing on any new phone.

NE2 is available 22 months before you contract ends and you must have a plan higher than $39.99 for the entire time.

I think you mean NE2 is available 2 months before your contract ends - i.e. you've been on contract for 22 months at a plan of at least $39.99 or higher the entire time.

Too bad the amount of the NE2 discount is not proportional to the monthly plan you've been paying.....

Also, just to add my $0.02, I'll be paying a visit to my neighborhood VZW store when then open at 9 am on Thursday too....

I seriously don't know how anyone could be certain about that unless they actually gave it a shot themselves. My honest advice would be to buy it, and if it doesn't work, go for the 14 day worry-free.

On another note, the test server has a new slide(the 3rd one) on homepage! It's showing a "Buy Now" button on the 700w image, but obviously that button doesn't take you to anywhere but to sign up for notification:

Unfortunately (wish it was a mini usb connector) I believe the charging adapter is the same...therefore all of the power accessories will work.

How is the RF on this phone. I know that Treos have been slightly lower than Motos and Nokias.

I live in a fringe area, and I really need the phone to work at my house. From past performance of previous phones, my i600 got nothing, my v60i would drop some calls, and my nokia barely drops a call. Do I have any chance of making a phone call with this phone from my house?

Come on you guys...we have had several hard nosed facts go out about this phone for the release date. I feel that early tommorrow morning it will be up on all the b2b sites and everything will be fine. Stores I am not for sure. I am am very confident.........

Yeah, i've given up until tomorrow. every store was clueless. they say it will be released in a couple of months. I should call back in March. They're so clueless, you should have heard them when I informed them it comes out tomorrow. They went through the stages of grieving: they were shocked, didn't believe it, denied it, got angry, and then accepted it. They don't know when they're getting any. Looks like I'll be visiting the store in the morning and if it's not there, calling the phone line and having them fedex it to me for friday.
